Michelle Klaff is Elegant Events! She is a fourth
generation Northern California-native and has been planning events throughout the state for over 16 years.
Known
by her friends, family, and clients as THE planner, Michelle's attention to detail and service-orientation naturally led to
her career in planning unforgettable weddings and events. She began her career at Nordstrom planning merchandising
and fashion events and later moved into high-tech trade shows and technical seminars working for Maxim Integrated Products.
In 2001, after the birth of her first child, Michelle founded Elegant Events and focused on wedding consulting and
coordination. At the request of clients, her services have expanded to included non-profit fundraisers, political events,
and special occasions of all types.
Michelle has a B.A. degree in Communications and Political Science from the
University of California at Davis. She's an active member of the Association for Wedding Professionals and a certified
consultant through the Association of Bridal Consultants.
